Well, I haven't written on this blog for a couple of weeks now. Hmm...where to begin.
I haven't done a long run it quite some time; call it lack of energy, lack of time, ...any of those excuses will work. I have, however, been running on a consisten basis, which is a good thing. A few miles 4 days a week and I am good to go. It is really quite energizing, in a weird sort of way.
But, alas, the news is not all good. Yesterday, I had to stop my run short because I got a little light-headed and dizzy on the treadmill. I've never had that happen before. That didn't stop me today and I went back for more and felt good. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
The other problem is that I seem to have developed shin splints, at least that is my own diagnosis. I've had them before, but it's nothing knee braces can't take care of. They will only last a month or two and will go away once my legs adjust to the constant force they are under when I run.
