Well, it has been a week since I started running at the Y and I am still going strong. It feels good to get up and get moving and still have plenty of time to do all that other stuff in the day. I just hope I am not going too hard too fast. I have been to the gym 4 days this week as well as played hockey on another day. That means, I went from nothing to 20 miles a week, which is a huge jump. I just hope I still have motivation and the gusto to keep running.
Oh, and one thing I learned the hard way. If you are going to do a long run on a Sunday then hop on the bus for 7 hours, make sure to stretch first. Nothing like sitting in a cramped seat with a need to stretch out. I was stiff all day Monday.
